What an incredible start to our brand‑new Netley Slimming World group. The room was buzzing from the moment the doors opened, and it genuinely felt like the beginning of something special for our community.

We welcomed a wonderful mix of people: our loyal Monday members who came along to support the launch, returning members ready to reconnect with their journey, brand‑new faces curious to see what Slimming World is all about, and even someone completely new to the plan who joined us on the spot. That blend of familiarity and fresh energy created the perfect atmosphere.

I gave the new member talk to everyone as it was a fresh new start in a new location, new day and new members. It set such a positive tone — a reminder that every journey starts with a single brave step.

To keep the fun flowing, we all got stuck into Team Fun Tech, which had everyone laughing, chatting, and working together. It was the perfect ice‑breaker and a brilliant way to show that slimming support doesn’t have to be serious all the time — it can be uplifting, playful, and full of connection.

And of course, no celebration is complete without a little surprise. Our mystery raffle went down a treat, with prizes ranging from Easter‑themed goodies to a full new‑member starter kit. The excitement of not knowing what you might win added a lovely bit of sparkle to the night.
